3rd May, Jette and Benny celebrated 10th Wedding Anniversary

4th May, Mie celebrated her 7th birthday

On the 11th, Dubai had a visit from Harlem Globetrotters, which we were lucky enough to get Court Side Tickets for.

We arrived at the Al Nasr Sports Club in fine time to see the teams arrive, and get a shot of the bus (someone was a little too slow on trigger to get the players on the way in)

This is how all sports events should be viewed, front row at the court. Eventhough someone looks a bit unhappy with the entire thing, we had a great evening, with some serious good ballplaying, but also some gags to keep the younger viewers entertained.

First in came the Nationals, the team the Globetrotters are playing

Then came Globie, the mascot of Harlem Globetrotters, preparing us for the arrival of the Harlem Globetrotters

First on the agenda was a Globetrotter classic, the circle warm-up, played to the tones of "Sweet Georgia Brown" an all time Globetrotter classic

Then we had a couple of hours of impressive ball handling, fun, games, and gags. Yes - he really is jumping over the referee, dunking the ball.

It was a great evening with plenty of WOW and fun and games for all ages.
